Version JMap 7.0 Dakar is now available

The 7.0 Dakar version is now available for download on our website: http://k2geospatial.com/support. Important: If your organization uses JMap 7.0 or an old patch (a-c), please ensure to upgrade to the 7.0 Dakar version as soon as possible to prevent performance issues and fix a security issue in JMap Admin.

Take note that this update is only compatible with JMap 7.0 or a newer version). If you are using a version prior to 7.0, your JMap Server must be migrated to version 7.0 before installing this update. After installing this patch, all deployed applications must be updated in JMap Admin.

For your information, a complete version of JMap 7.0 Dakar that contains all released patches is now available for download on our website. That complete version can be installed on all JMap versions starting from JMap 6.5.

New features / improvements

  • It's now possible to define default layer filters in JMap Admin.

  • An layer filters icon that displays if filters are enabled was added in JMap Web.

  • It's now possible to define layer filters based on a dynamic time period.

  • Pie and bar charts thematic legends were improved in JMap Web.

  • Keyboard shortcuts were added in all user interfaces in JMap Web.

  • It's no more necessary to update a JMap Web deployment to get updated attribute queries.

  • It's now possible to define parameters for JMap Web extensions in JMap Admin.

  • The language setting is now persistent in JMap Admin.

  • The "Reduce precision" option is now disabled by default while creating new layers.

  • The default connection read timeout was changed from 1 to 3 minutes to prevent disconnections during long requests.

  • The default sessions log limit was changed from 12 to 18 months.

Fixed issues

  • The layer filters dialog didn't adjust to the screen size in JMap Web.

  • Fixed a problem with the element attributes table layout in JMap Web when opened in a new tab.

  • Fixed the information reports order in JMap Web.

  • JMap Web didn't respect the maximum scale defined for attribute queries.

  • Fixed support for layers having a plus ("+") character in their name in JMap Web.

  • Subform data values were intermittently not displayed in JMap Web.

  • Dropdown lists were expanded for some seconds when opening a form in JMap Web.

  • Some dropdown lists defined in layer forms didn't display in the Safari browser.

  • Fixed a random problem while changing form sections in JMap Web.

  • The form component suffix was displayed under the component in JMap Web.

  • Fixed the search input behavior in the layer panel when the enter key was pressed in JMap Web.

  • The print dialog didn't adjust to the screen size in JMap Web.

  • Fixed a refresh issue in the dynamic legend panel in JMap Pro.
