JMap 6.5 is now available

JMap 6.5 is now available for download on our website: http://k2geospatial.com/en/products/downloads/

Take note that this version is compatible with JMap 6.0 and its patches in terms of installation upgrade, license and communication between different servers. After having install this patch, all deployed applications must be updated in JMap Admin. More details are available in the installation guide: JMap 6.5 installation guide

Here are the new features introduced in JMap 6.5:

  JMap Admin
- It is now possible to configure administration permissions on all resources in JMap Admin.
- Permission summary reports have been added for users and groups.
- While deploying Web and Mobile applications:
- It is now possible to visually define the maximum and initial extents of the map.
- An option has been added to allow zooming over the maximum scale limit.
- While deploying Web applications, it is now possible to configure the availability of some functions.
- It is now possible to download one or more log files from JMap Admin.
- Added support for non-nullable fields in layer and attribute query forms in JMap Admin.
- It is now possible to configure the border color of labels frame.
- It is now possible to configure the transparency of polygons border.
- A new SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) images library was added.

  JMap Web
- New SDK for JMap Web applications development.
- General improvement of the application user interface.
- Added an advanced print dialog.
- Added geometric and attribute data edition capabilities.
- Added drawing tools.
- Added selection tools.
- Added a selection explorer.
- Added a selection report tool.
- It is now possible to display layer metadata.
- The layer bar now displays the sample style for all layers.
- Coordinates and calculated distances are now displayed using configured units in the project.
- Added a dialog to configure locally display and distance units.
- Integrated address search and routing capabilities from Google Maps.
- Integrated Google Street View.

  JMap Pro
- It is now possible to configure automatic data refresh on layers.
- It is now possible to configure scale thresholds on the layer mouseover.
- It is now possible to delete elements from the element explorer.
- Some print parameters are now saved into the user workspace.
- The project projection is now displayed in the map properties.

  JMap Server
- It is now faster to initialize spatial data sources at the JMap Server's startup.
- Added the new spatial data source ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase for MS SQL Server.
- Spatial data sources now manage the nullable property in attributes.
